What is health, wellness & lifestyle coaching?

Most of us want to feel and look healthy and vibrant as we get older, and to stay active for as long as possible.

But it’s not always easy to adopt healthier behaviours – and then maintain them. Life has a habit of getting in the way, we run out of energy/time/money/motivation (you know how it is). Perhaps you’ve set goals in the past and lost motivation – or maybe you’re just not sure where to start.

Lifestyle and wellness coaching helps you work out exactly what you want and why (your “wellness vision”) and then create a realistic, achievable action plan for how to get there (your goals): as your coach I support, encourage and help keep you accountable and inspired every step of the way.

We work through your challenges together and celebrate your achievements so you’re always taking small, positive steps towards your vision and goals.

Coaching puts YOU in charge of your health and wellbeing, so you gain the confidence to make lasting changes.

It’s scientifically based (using positive psychology, coaching psychology and behaviour change) – and it’s fun – so it works! You’ll be empowered to be the best you can be by creating the healthy habits you want, in your timeframe.

What health, wellness & lifestyle coaching isn’t

Coaching doesn’t diagnose or treat illnesses (this should be done by a qualified health professional). As a coach I don’t tell you what to do or make decisions for you – but I will help guide, inspire, motivate and empower you to feel confident to take charge of your own wellbeing. If, as part of your coaching program, you feel you would benefit from working with a specialist who can provide complementary services, I’ve developed a large network of people including personal trainers, dietitians/nutritionists, naturopaths, massage therapists, yoga teachers, EFT practitioners etc.
